Christmas Shopping Made Easy!
I can't believe Christmas is literally just over a month away. It seems like the older I get the faster time flies. My mom warned me of this as you get older but I surely didn't believe her. Yet here we are with stores packed with holiday gifts and decor. I also noticed Black Friday deals being offered early. I remember when Black Friday was a BIG deal. My mom, sister and Reth would wake up super early and bear the cold to go shopping for Christmas gifts. We would be out alllllllll day long. It was so fun! Nowadays with online shopping the thrill of standing in line and running to get that one item you really want is a distant memory.
Thankfully with time there comes new changes - some for the better. Carolima's is proud to host the 3rd annual Soulful Holiday Pop Up Shop to be held on Thursday, December 7th at IBA Event Venue from 6:30pm-9:00pm. It's an event where local artisans participate and sell their crafts. If you're in the market for hand crafted gifts that also support the community this is a great opportunity to do both. Some of the artists include sweetgrass jewelry makers, candles, baked goods and other hand made items. Carolima's Dessert Boutique will provide made from scratch cookies and of course Mixin Mixer will have a hand crafted cocktail for your enjoyment.
More great option for the holidays are our made from scratch desserts. They're great for corporate gift giving and for family and friends. We can customize corporate gifts for your clients including a sticker with your company logo! Our Charleston Chewies are our most popular dessert item and trust me it would brighten someone's day to receive our signature box of 12. Our desserts make great teacher gifts too. Teachers would appreciate something a little different this year. I know because we cater lots of events at schools and our Charleston Chewies are always a hit! LOL.
