Charleston Wine and Food Festival 2024

Welcome to the month of March. It’s an exciting time to be in Charleston. The first full weekend in March is when Charleston’s Annual Wine and Food Festival happens. The dates for the 2024 festival are March 6th-10th. 

This festival first started in 2005 by a group of local community leaders who had a desire to promote Charleston as a culinary destination location. Charleston’s Wine and Food Festival brings together top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers, artisans, experts, and food enthusiasts from around the globe for a five-day event. This is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is proud to say that 93 cents of every dollar spent producing the annual festival is mission-based. In 2022 the five-day festival had an economic impact of $26.5 million.

The festival takes place all across Charleston, from the peninsula to North Charleston, West Ashley to Mt. Pleasant. This is an event that tries to showcase all of what makes Charleston such a great place. 

On Thursday, March 7th, Street Fest will be taking place from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This will be the only event you will not need tickets to and is kid friendly. All other events you are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as many events are already sold out. All tickets are all-inclusive, meaning all food and beverage samples and experiences are included with the purchase of a ticket, with the exception of Street Fest. Select events also offer the opportunity to purchase larger food portions, artisanal goods, and retail items. All Charleston Wine and Food events are 21+ with the exception of Street Fest.
